Those Maps in Our Heads

Last summer at DesignInquiry, Kim Loken brought to the STATION-topic-table an exercise where we exposed thoughts that carry a specific form. She prompted us all to draw something we imagine as a process or map that we have in our mind. The results are fantastically refreshing, funny, and enlightening. I guess we found our tribe that week, confirming each of us are not alone in thinking spatially with compositions of texture and lines that slither and slide with meaning of seasons, age, or tip charts…
